Hank Green! + Crash Course!
Hey fellow nerds and NerdFighters! Today was really exciting for us in the UMZM, because Hank Green of the extremely popular YouTube channels Vlogbrothers, Crash Course, SciShow, and a variety of other Internet- and real-world famous educational endeavors visited our collection! For his next episode in Crash Course Hank will be discussing the vertebrate skeleton, so what better place to do off-site filming than our museum?! Here are some photos I snapped during the shoot. I’m so excited to post the video next week so, as always, stay tuned!

Sorry to hear about that! Faults and all he will always be your bro. What was the big problem? Telling the staff?
I forgot to order more outside door keys because we ran out. (It shouldn’t have mattered because everyone had a key, but then someone lost one and came to the desk to get a new one and my coworker got snippy with me so I called the person who could fix the keys and he walked me through how to set up the key-cards and now it’s all fine.) Telling staff was awkward and the snippy coworker was all “the building isn’t classist nobody would mind” and I didn’t have the energy to tell her that that was bullshit, but that wasn’t the big thing. Everything’s basically fine now, I just have some pent up reawofidsjkfdalskfhjadklsfhds.

D’aw, thanks! Yeah, this was all my mom :) She got tired of my dad taking pictures of us together (cuz, ya know, he’s a sap) so she started making him give up his phone for pictures like this. There are pictures of just our feet and pictures where we’re barely in the shot, and this one just happened to turn out in a really fun way :)
